Thanks to everyone who attended the AIA West Jersey Emerging Professionals Seminar & Social at "The Big Event" in Cherry Hill.  The event was hosted by Fritz Winterle of Super Enterprises (distributor of Marvin windows) and featured an engaging, informative demonstration of proper window unit installation presented by his colleague Rick. AIA West Jersey will host the next General Membership Meeting and Dinner Seminar on March 15th at Caffé Aldo Lamberti in Cherry Hill, NJ. In case you missed it, the AIA-West Jersey Committee of Emerging Professionals in Architecture (CEPA)  kicked off this year’s activities with its first social event of 2016 at Forgotten Boardwalk Brewery in Cherry Hill. AIA New Jersey recently held the State Convention in Whippany, NJ.  The two (2) day event featured informative seminars, inspiring keynote speakers and local building tours. Members of the Committee of Emerging Professionals in Architecture (CEPA) attended a seminar with Lee D. Boss, CPA of The Mercadien Group, an accounting firm based in the Princeton area.  Members and guests learned about several topics of interest for the intern and licensed architect alike, including: Business Basics/Financial Fluency, Critical Success Factors & Key Performance Indicators.  The event was held at Taproom & Grill in Haddon Township, NJ. If you were unable to attend our last meeting on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at Annata Wine Bar in Hammonton, New Jersey … You missed a lot! It was a joint AIA South Jersey/AIA West Jersey event. The event was well attended by both sections and included members of AIA New Jersey leadership. NETWORKING SOCIAL: The CEPA Group meet most recently on September 22nd, 2015 at Pinsetter’s Bar & Bowl in Merchantville, NJ.  The event was social, a networking event where attendees enjoyed bowling, friendly competition and discussed several of the upcoming events below.
