Philadelphia Walking Tour

We’re happy to announce the AIA-WJ Philadelphia Walking Tour scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2015. The tour will include the PSFS Building (upper floor, lobby and exterior), the old Reading Terminal Train Depot and Philadelphia’s City Hall. The tour will begin at 10:30 am and will end at approximately 12:30 pm at the Reading Terminal Market where members can have lunch on their own. AIA has been in summer mode but events will be picking up again soon! AIA-West Jersey would like to organize a group to enter the annual CANstruction event to be held in October 2015. Entry deadline is September 8th, 2015. NCARB – IDP Streamline Goes Into Effect July 1

Attention AIA-West Jersey Committee of Emerging Professionals in Architecture (CEPA) Group: NCARB recently announced, the Intern Development Program (IDP) will no longer require elective hours as of July 1, 2015.  The IDP will require 3,740 total hours defined by the existing 17 experience areas. Additional Information is available from the NCARB website. Be sure to check for updates with NCARB as the transition continues. AIA-West Jersey kicked off the 2015 General Meetings on March 31st with the 2015 International Building Code Seminar at Caffe Aldo Lamberti in Cherry Hill.
