2026 President
Kent Werner, RA, AIA, ASID, NCARB

With over three decades of professional experience in architecture and interior design, my portfolio encompasses a wide range of projects, from small and large-scale renovations to the development of new institutional, commercial, and custom residential structures. This background has afforded me opportunities to engage in numerous projects, including commercial office building design, custom homes, new constructions, prototype buildings, institutional facilities, renovations, and adaptive reuse initiatives. My residential expertise spans from minor renovation and alterations to the design and construction of some of the largest private residences in New Jersey. I have been involved in all phases of project development, including survey, investigation, programming, space planning, design, preparation of contract documents and specifications, and construction administration. Among completed projects are new senior living facilities in New Hope and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; a 145,000 square foot, 126-unit assisted living addition to a nursing facility in Quakertown, Pennsylvania; a 220,000 square foot independent and assisted living facility in Hamilton Township, New Jersey; and various residential projects. My experience also extends to the adaptive reuse of the historic Vine Street School in Bridgeton, New Jersey, for the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office; a 25,000 square foot operations center; a 32,000 square foot regional headquarters for the New Jersey Department of Transportation; the new Ronald McDonald House at St. Christopher's Hospital in Philadelphia; a new oncology center in Hammonton, New Jersey; a 25,000 square foot Center for Children and Families in Lumberton Township, New Jersey; adaptive reuse of an industrial building as offices for the Diocese of Camden Vicariate for Human Services; renovation of the church and rectory at Saint Vincent Pallotti Parish; renovations of the New Jersey State Museum's Natural History Hall and Planetarium; as well as several residential and historic preservation projects.
