The 9th Annual AIA West Jersey Photography Competition The 2014 competition has opened for submissions. Winning entries will be used in the AIA West Jersey 2015 Calendar that will be distributed to members and affiliates. Images of the winning entries will shown at AIA-WJ events including the Annual Inaugural Gala to be held in January, 2015. From the winning entries, three cash awards will also be presented. AIA West Jersey's first Membership Meeting for 2014 is coming up on March 18. This meeting will be held at The Wine Cellar at Cafe Aldo Lamberti in Cherry Hill. Cocktail and Social Hour begins at 5:30 pm followed by dinner and a guest speaker at 6:00 pm. Dear AIA West Jersey Members, Meet up with fellow AIA members to learn about the rebuilding process for the Jersey Shore following Superstorm Sandy as well as the Repositioning of AIA and its impacts on the architecture profession. A cocktail hour, dinner and raffle will be held and 3 CEU's will be offered. The Louis Goettelmann Award will also be presented to a member of the AIA-WJ chapter for service to the Chapter. AIA-West Jersey is sponsoring a FREE trip to New York City for its members ($20 per person for non-members & family). A charter bus will pick up attendees at Pella Windows in the Barclay Farms Center in Cherry Hill, NJ (165 Barclay Farms Shopping Center, Cherry Hill, NJ) at 9am and will return to Barclay Farms Center at 8pm. The AIA West Jersey has opened up public voting for the 2012 Photography Competition. The 7th Annual AIA West Jersey Photography Competition had a number of outstanding images submitted to this years event. A panel of jurors narrowed the submissions to the top entries. These selected entries are being included in a public voting round that is now open. This year we are asking all of you to "Join us for a day in Cape May," on September 29, 2012.
