Philadelphia Walking Tour – Saturday Sept. 19, 2015

A group of 16 AIA Members and guests toured several historic buildings during the AIA West Jersey Philadelphia Walking Tour on Saturday Sept. 19.  The tour was led by Richard Frey of Your Philadelphia Tour, LLC, a very knowledgeable guide who narrated the history and geography of the Philadelphia landmarks and delivered us a better understanding of the city and the region.

The tour included a visit to the 34th floor of the PSFS Building and the observation deck of City Hall where we saw stunning views of Center City Philadelphia. In addition to City Hall and and the PSFS building we also paid a visit to the Reading Terminal Train Shed which is now part of the Philadelphia Convention Center.

Be sure to look out for more tours in the coming months with AIA West Jersey.  Guests are welcome and tours usually contribute to continuing education requirements.

See you next time!
