Join us on April 10th for a special session with NCARB as they introduce the revised Competencies Standards. The National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) has introduced a new Competency Standard for Architects, defining 16 essential competencies required for initial licensure to ensure public health, safety, and welfare. These competencies are categorized into various domains such as: Design & Documentation, Construction Administration, and Practice & Project Management.
Over the next year, NCARB plans to update its existing programs, including the Architectural Experience Program (AXP) and the Architect Registration Examination (ARE), to reflect this new standard. These updates are anticipated to launch in early 2026 for the AXP and summer 2026 for the ARE.
Don’t miss this opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the Competency Standard through an NCARB-hosted presentation and discussion at the Moorestown Community House. Meals and drinks will be provided.
