Bob O'Reilly - President

Robert O’Reilly, AIA, LEED AP is Principal and Co-Founder of Arch Design Architects, Inc. located in Cherry Hill, NJ. He is a licensed professional Architect with over thirty years of experience. His interest in sustainable design and energy conservation led him to become a LEED Accredited Professional through the U.S. Green Building Council. Robert has design several LEED certified buildings throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

After majoring in Construction Management & Structural Engineering and attaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Robert accumulated experience in estimating, design, and project management by working with various design firms across New Jersey. Not long after acquiring his New Jersey licensure as an architect, Robert transitioned his talents into the construction management arena by fulfilling a senior project management role at Wu & Associates, Inc.

In 2001, Robert launched Arch Design Architects, Inc. in partnership with members of executive management from Wu & Associates, Inc. Though the two firms act separately, they are able to team and offer design/build services to their clients as an added option for specific projects.

Robert in his spare time is active with the AIA-WJ Section and is also very active within the Cherry Hill community being a member of the Green Building Task force of Sustainable Cherry Hill (a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public on sustainability and the environment). In addition, he is a member of the International Code Council, the Construction Specifications Institute, and of AIA-NJ COTE (Committee on The Environment).


Jim Del GrossoPresident Elect

Jim Del Grosso, AIA, LEED AP, is the President of Residential Energy Professionals. He is a licensed professional Architect, with over thirty year’s experience. His interest in energy conservation and sustainability led him to become a LEED Accredited Professional through the US Green Building Council and completed his certification as a Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Energy Rater through the Residential Energy Services Network (Resnet).

Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Masters degree in Business Management. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects and Certified member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He has lectured, published articles and received awards throughout his career.

In 2007 Jim founded Residential Energy Professionals, a consulting practice, to assist homeowners, builders, architects, and real estate professionals in achieving responsible energy conservation through improved indoor air quality, improved comfort and energy savings.

Jim additionally holds an instructor’s position at Atlantic Cape Community College, Raritan Valley Community College, and Camden County Community College, teaching seminars related to Energy Auditing, Energy Conservation and Design and Construction of Sustainable Homes through their Continuing Education Programs.

 


David Lummis - Treasurer

David Lummis, AIA is a principal with the firm of Ignarri-Lummis Architects in Cherry Hill. Dave is a licensed architect in New Jersey and forty-one other states. The firm specializes in retail development and medical and dental office facilities across the country. He also holds a New Jersey Professional Planner’s license, is a New Jersey licensed ICS Building Inspector, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

In 1979, Dave graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, at which time he joined the firm of Thomas Kolbe Thomas Poponi. Dave, with his partner Bob Ignarri, AIA, became principals of the firm in 1990. The South Jersey firm has maintained a continual line of partnerships dating back to 1921.

Dave became involved with AIA West Jersey in 2006, serving as Vice President. He became President of the Chapter in 2008, and has remained on the Executive Board serving as Trustee and Treasurer. In addition to his duties for the Executive Board, Dave has initiated AIA West Jersey’s Community Service projects, where members of AIA West Jersey have assisted with several projects in Camden, NJ.

Dave is also a member of the Cherry Hill Rotary Club and the Cherry Hill Historical Commission. He grew up in Cherry Hill, attending two schools designed by the firm’s predecessors, and currently resides in Cherry Hill. Dave enjoys skiing, scuba diving, woodworking and photography.


Jason Lutz - Secretary

Jason Lutz, AIA Associate, is an Associate at J. Randolph Parry Architects, P.C., where he holds the positions of Lead Architectural Designer and Project Manager. His interest is in Architectural Design that combines traditional ideas of composition, form, and craft with a readable and more flexible expression through modern functionality. He believes that the inspiration for design comes from the physical conditions of the site, as well as the cultural, historical, and especially environmental context for the building.

Jason graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Temple University Tyler School of Art. For six months he lived in Rome, Italy, where he studied the concepts and philosophies inherent in International Architecture and Design. His Architectural Thesis “In the Middle of a Void,” won Honorable Mention by the Architectural Thesis Review Committee at Temple University.

Jason officially joined J. Randolph Parry Architects, P.C., in 2005. In his six years at the firm, he has gained experience in all phases of design and development for a variety of different project types including: commercial, residential, multi-family, and restaurants.

In addition to being elected the 2011 Secretary for the AIA West Jersey, Jason is an active board member at WelcomeNJ, a non-profit based in Camden, NJ, focused on enriching the city of Camden with empowerment, support, and encouragement, while providing the people of the city with the critical educational, work, and life skills that are required for job training and workforce development.


William J. Cohen

William J. Cohen, R.A., A.I.A., N.C.A.R.B., is the President of COHEN DESIGN/BUILD ASSOCIATES, PC. Since his entry into the Design and Construction industry in 1994, he has overseen projects valued over $600 million. Prior to establishing his own Design/Build firm, he worked for several leading New York City construction management firms, where he rose from an entry-level manager to Vice President of Construction. In 2005, after honing his craft, he returned to southern NJ to creatively integrate his construction management skills with his architectural background. Hence, the foundation was laid for the establishment of COHEN DESIGN/BUILD ASSOCIATES, PC.

 

Mr. Cohen is a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, where he received his Bachelor of Architecture and Masters of Architecture degrees. His project portfolio includes commercial and residential work from Boston, MA to Orlando, FL. His firm maintains offices in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Mr. Cohen is a member of the American Institute of Architects, where he will serve as President for the West Jersey Chapter in 2011, and is Chairman of the Design/Build Committee. He is also an active member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and the South Jersey Chamber of Commerce. In addition to his professional affiliations, he is on the Board of Directors of the Katz Jewish Community Center, serves as Chairman of their Green Commission and Vice Chairman of the JCC Camps in Medford, NJ. He also serves on the building committees for Kellman Brown Academy and Congregation Beth El in Voorhees, NJ.

As an architect, Mr. Cohen is nationally accredited and holds active licenses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. As a builder, he maintains contractor licenses throughout the Tri-State region.

He resides in Cherry Hill, NJ with his wife, Meredith, and their two children.


William Fearon - Trustee

Bill Fearon, a husband and father of two girls, is a life long NJ resident. Bill enjoyed his childhood on the central jersey shore in Point Pleasant, NJ until his college graduation in May 2000. Bill has since moved to Tabernacle, NJ and is currently wrapping up the documentation and approval phases for a roof mounted PV system.

Bill is a Project Architect at Ignarri-Lummis Architects LLP in Cherry Hill, NJ. Bill is a licensed Architect in New Jersey with certification from the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards. Bill joined the Executive Board of the West Jersey section of AIA in 2003 and has served as Secretary, Treasurer and President-Elect before serving as President in 2010.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Philadelphia University and a certificate in Arctic Engineering from the University of Alaska. Bill’s undergraduate education included introductions into advanced drafting and rendering programs as well as a focus on sustainable design. The sustainable focus of Philadelphia Universities design program led to the creation of the Masters of Science in Sustainable Design. The schools graduate program was one of five schools recognized by the USGBC for “excellence in education”.

Bill joined Ignarri-Lummis in 2000. With more than ten years of national retail

experience he has developed a variety of skill sets ranging from singular project design and documentation to national prototype rollouts. He has developed prototype construction documents for multiple building types and sizes to align with specific business models for various clients. Bill’s projects include multi-story medical office buildings, power retail shopping centers up to 600,000 square feet, existing supermarket conversions and multi-level exercise facilities.


John Glaviano - Trustee

John J. Glaviano, AIA is a Project Architect for Lammey & Giorgio, P.A. in Haddon Township, New Jersey. He is married and has a three year old son. John is a licensed Architect and a past President of AIA West Jersey. 2011 marks his 6th year on the AIA WJ Board where he will serve as a Trustee. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Drexel University.

John has worked in the Architecture field for over 20 years and has been fortunate to work on some notable buildings including the Philadelphia Flyers’ practice facility in Voorhees, NJ, numerous Renovations to Caesars Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City and several restaurants including Planet Hollywood at Caesars and the Chop House in Gibbsboro, NJ. Some of his recent projects include modifications to several buildings at Rowan University, new State Courtrooms in Camden, NJ, and renovations to numerous Camden County office facilities. John recently completed a façade renovation to the Ritz (Carlton) in Atlantic City, which serves as the model for “Nucky” Thompson’s home in the HBO miniseries ‘Boardwalk Empire’. In 2011 he will serve as a

Construction Manager for a renovation to the historic 160 year old Glassboro Train Station in Glassboro, New Jersey.

Prior to joining Lammey & Giorgio in 2001, John worked for design-build Architect Barry Bannett, AIA. Working for The Bannett Group enabled him to gain firsthand experience of construction methods by serving as an Assistant Site Superintendent on job sites while also working in the design studio. John has also worked for RHM Associates, in Marlton and Grana, Bonnett, Ambruster, LLC. in Ventor.


Kimberly Bunn - Trustee

Kimberly Bunn, AIA, LEED ap, is owner and principal of Bunn Architecture, a full service architecture firm specializing in residential projects based in Moorestown.

Dedicated to creative design and attention to detail, she enjoys helping her clients improve the spaces that they live or work in everyday.

As a member of the American Institute of Architecture (AIA), she has been involved in the organization’s leadership for over a decade. Starting as a committee chair in 1999, she is a Past President of AIA West Jersey and still champions the AIA-WJ Photography Competition she developed. Kimberly is currently an AIA-WJ Trustee and the 2nd Vice President of AIA New Jersey.

In addition, Kimberly is active in her community and local schools, including serving as a trustee for the Moorestown Improvement Association, and a board member for the Moorestown Theater Company. Combining architecture with historic preservation, she has developed and continues to lead spring/fall Historic & Architectural Walking Tours. She is often a mentor for high school students interested in pursuing a career in architecture. And for over ten years, has been a guest teacher of a week long class in classical architectural styles to elementary school students.

She resides in Moorestown, with her husband and two sons.
